Modes

Standard: an open ascending auction. Anti-sniping extends the close if a bid lands in the final moments.

FireSale: a short, fast auction with a seller-set floor.

Mystery: a sealed-bid, second-price (Vickrey) auction with a required reserve. Bid your true maximum — you never pay more than one step above the runner-up.

Reserves and floors

If a reserve or floor is not met, the item does not sell and any payment holds are released.

Bidding requires a verified card

You must have a verified card on file to place a binding bid.
